The Disney Princesses Get A New Comic (And Workout)

Disney princesses have been represented in countless books, movies, parodies, song covers, and drawings done by their fans–but there's one collection of Disney-princess-themed content that you may not have seen, and it's just had a new addition! Cassey Ho, also known as Blogilates, has been a Youtube fitness powerhouse since 2009. Her Youtube channel's high-energy Pilates workouts have garnered her a following of over 5.6 million fans, and she's expanded into designing activewear called Popflex Active that's also been a success. In 2019, Blogilates began a new spinoff in the form of “Blogicomics“, a social media account where small comics (drawn by Daniel Kordek) are created that depict relatable and humorous things about the life of a ‘fitness junkie'. Blogicomics has featured Disney princesses or villains several times; now, there's a new Disney princess comic to be seen!

In this playful comic, three iconic Disney Princesses stroll toward a grand castle-themed high school, laughing and chatting after their morning workout session. The caption reads: "If Disney Princesses went to high school." The scene evokes the immersive charm of a day at a Disney park, blending beloved fairytale characters with relatable high school energy for fans of Disney’s magical storytelling.

In this comic, the Disney princesses go back to school (appropriately, since it's that time of year)! Ariel, Aurora, and Cinderella are the popular cheerleaders, their respective princes are the top athletes in class, and Belle is (somewhat predictably) the AP student.

Three animated cheerleaders in sparkling pink uniforms snap a selfie in a vibrant school hallway lined with blue lockers, their lively poses and radiant smiles channeling the playful spirit of Disney Princesses enjoying a magical break during Disney Parks’ themed workout event.

Three animated boys in vibrant sports uniforms dash across a football field with beaming smiles, capturing the high-energy spirit of an All-Star Sports Resort parade. The bold "THE JOCKS" banner splashes across the scene, channeling the playful feel of a theme park comic adventure—these boys might not be Disney Princesses, but their infectious team spirit is worthy of any magical celebration at Disney Parks.

The comic also includes two villains' high school alter egos: Cruella and Maleficent (who was also featured in another comic previously). Kordek has portrayed them as “tortured artists”, whose passionate personalities and big imaginations would draw them to the art studio.

An artist at a Disney creative studio sketches beloved Disney Princesses for an upcoming comic series, while another molds a dragon sculpture from clay, bringing magical characters to life for fans of the parks and movies.

As for extracurriculars, Pocahontas is depicted as an avid volunteer, with Mulan running for class president while Tiana and Snow White focus on bake sale fundraisers.

A Disney Princess character, drawn in a modern cartoon style, is cleaning up trash outside an iconic castle at a Disney park, holding a large bag and looking determined—channeling a fresh, hard-working take on classic princess tales for theme park guests.

As a humorous ending and ode to the Blogicomics fitness theme, the high school series ends with all of the princesses being included in a gym class workout (while Elsa and Jasmine “fly” by in the background).

During a lively gym class at Disney’s magical Kingdom, a P.E. teacher blows the whistle as students race along, but Elsa and Jasmine zip ahead through the air—sparking laughter and shouts of “No cheating!” This whimsical comic brings classic Disney Princess magic to an everyday workout in true theme park style.

As it happens, Blogilates has also seen success with some Disney workouts, shown below. Each of the Youtube channel's “Disney” videos received positive comments from fans.

So far, there have only been a few Disney-princess-themed workouts on the channel, but Cassey Ho has indicated that there are more to come!

Blogilates has also had some success with her Disney-princess-inspired TikTok videos, such as the one below. Have you ever come across the Blogicomics before, or completed other Disney workouts like Tiana's, Moana's, or this Belle one?
