Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth With 50th Anniversary Treats at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

As one of my personal favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels, I am thrilled to share some of the incredible treats available at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge just for “The Most Magical Celebration on Earth!” This resort has some of the best theming of any Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and combined with some of my favorite restaurants plus the relaxing boat ride to arrive from the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge needs to be bumped to the top of your resort hopping list.

At Roaring Fork, the resort’s quick service dining location, Guests can celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World with the Petit Stump Cake. This tasty treat is made with chocolate cake with birthday cake buttercream filling surrounded by chocolate “bark” fondant topped with 50th anniversary chocolate coin. It almost looks too good to eat, but we are sure it’s delicious!

Outside of the main lobby over at Geyser Point Bar & Grill, Guests can try the Lemon Meringue Pie. This dessert comes in a house-made tart shell filled with  lemon curd and topped off with a toasted meringue. (I bet it would pair perfectly with some of the specialty cocktails available at Geyser Point Bar & Grill, too!) This location is the perfect spot to relax for a bit when you are looking for a break from the Magic Kingdom– If this happens to be you on your next Disney trip, be sure to try the Lemon Meringue Pie!

Along with the above treats, Guests at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge can pick up limited edition 50th anniversary refillable mugs from Roaring Fork, participate in scavenger hunts and themed pool parties, and may even take a magical ride to a Disney theme park in a special 50th anniversary EARidescent wrapped bus, and they may even spot some Disney characters around the resorts.
