Celebrate the Holidays with New Drinks and Desserts at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is arguably one of the best Disney resorts to visit during the holiday season. The resort itself and especially the lobby provides stunning decor and theming as it is, and even more so when you add holiday elements into the mix. With the resort being just a short boat or bus ride away from the Magic Kingdom, we always recommend stopping here to check out the decorations, and this holiday season there are some new menu items you need to add to your list, too.

Guests will find a number of new holiday sweets right in the lobby of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. From November 14, 2021-January 1, 2022, Guests can pick up Gingerbread Pine Trees, Spiced Moose Cookies, Peppermint Bark, and “Reindeer Food.” The Reindeer Food sounds like our first choice for what to purchase here, especially as we have not seen it on any of the other resort’s holiday specials lists. It consists of cubes of gingerbread, chocolate stripped pretzels, holiday granola, and various candies.

Just outside the resort’s lobby at Geyser Point Bar & Grill, new holiday specials include an especially festive flight of martinis. Available December 5-January 8 as either a complete flight or individual drink orders, “Martinis Around the World” includes:

  • Key Lime Pie – Lime juice, simple syrup, and rum with green sugar rim
  • Poinsettia – Brut Champagne and cranberry
  • Italian Manhattan – Bourbon, vermouth, bitters, grenadine, and cranberry with maraschino cherries
  • Caribbean Cream – Rum, cinnamon cream liqueur, and cream with nutmeg and green sugar rim

On top of all of these delicious sweets, the family style dining and fun shenanigans of Whispering Canyon Cafe right in the resort’s lobby offers a fun way to celebrate the holidays with a unique dinner experience, and Wilderness Lodge boasts a breathtaking Christmas tree and holiday decor throughout the season.
