Fire safety drills, though often viewed as a nuisance during a vacation, hold essential importance in maintaining the safety of guests. Regular testing of alarm systems ensures that all emergency systems function correctly. These drills help familiarize guests with evacuation procedures, which are critical in emergencies.

Walt Disney World Resort has a well-structured policy of conducting such drills during the day, typically when most families visit Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs. This minimizes disruption to guest experiences while ensuring that all safety protocols are routinely verified.

It remains unclear whether the other two All-Star Resorts—Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and Disney's All-Star Movie Resort—participated in the same fire alarm tests.
