It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Walt Disney World…unless you’re an Annual Passholder hoping for a little holiday cheer in your inbox.

This week, Disney dropped a festive preview of its 2025 holiday season, revealing returning favorites like the Jingle Cruise, castle projections, and seasonal overlays across all four theme parks. As expected, the holiday spirit is alive and well—unless you were expecting details on Passholder perks.
Because, well…they weren’t there.
Normally, when Disney kicks off its holiday marketing push, there’s at least a mention—if not full details—about exclusive resort discounts or specially priced tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. But this year’s July 8 announcement didn’t include anything about Annual Passholder benefits. Nothing. Not even a tease.

And while Disney hasn’t yet released pricing, longtime fans can’t help but feel a bit overlooked. For a group that sticks with Disney year-round, this kind of omission hits different.
Some fans online are speculating that Disney may be changing how—or if—it rolls out discounts to Passholders for major events. Others think it’s just a delay, with news to follow in a separate post. That’s happened before, but the complete lack of acknowledgement this time has stirred up more concern than usual.

Let’s be honest: booking a Disney holiday trip takes strategy. Discounts can disappear fast, and with no guarantee they’re coming at all this year, planning just got harder for Passholders hoping to stretch their dollars.
There’s still a chance Disney will bring back the perks soon. But if not, it could mark a subtle shift in how the company treats its most dedicated fans during the most wonderful (and expensive) time of the year.
Until then, the countdown to Christmas continues—and so does the waiting game for Passholders.
