Can You Still Go to Mickey’s Halloween Party This Year? Only These 3 Nights Remain

As the fall season begins to take hold in Central Florida, the countdown to Halloween at Walt Disney World is well underway—and one of the resort’s most popular seasonal events is nearly at capacity. According to Disney’s official calendar, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025 is now almost entirely sold out, with only three event dates remaining.

Spanning select nights from August 15 through October 31, the Halloween party has quickly become one of the most sought-after special events at Magic Kingdom. The limited ticket availability this year reflects continued demand from both locals and travelers seeking a more festive, less frightening take on Halloween.

Those hoping to attend this year should be aware that time and ticket inventory are running out.

As of September 14, the following dates remain available for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party:

  • September 28 – $169

  • September 30 – $179

  • October 26 – $209

All other nights across August, September, and October have reached full capacity, including the final night of the event on Halloween itself. Historically, late September and the final week of October are among the first to sell out due to favorable weather and proximity to the holiday.

Guests interested in attending should plan to purchase tickets immediately through the official Walt Disney World website, as availability can change daily.

About Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Unlike standard park admission, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event that takes place after regular park hours. The party runs from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, though guests with party tickets may enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. without an additional day ticket.

The event is designed for guests of all ages and offers a mix of seasonal entertainment, themed food and beverages, ride enhancements, trick-or-treating opportunities, and exclusive character meet-and-greets. Attendance is capped, which means guests typically enjoy shorter wait times and less crowded walkways throughout the park.

What’s New and Returning in 2025

This year’s Halloween party builds on past offerings while adding new entertainment and enhancements to the guest experience.

Character Meet-and-Greets

Several rare characters will be available to meet throughout the event, including the return of Jack Skellington and Sally in updated costumes that reflect their original film designs more closely than in past years. Also debuting this year is Mickey and Minnie’s first-ever joint appearance in Halloween costumes, located inside Town Square Theater.

Other characters, including villains, classic Disney icons, and niche favorites, will appear in themed locations across the park.

“Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade”

A highlight of the evening, the Boo-To-You Parade features character appearances, themed floats, and choreographed performances. The parade is scheduled to take place at 8:15 p.m. and includes sections themed to Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, and Disney Villains.

“Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular”

Back for another year, this castle stage show stars the Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s Hocus Pocus, joined by a lineup of villainous Disney characters including Hades, Dr. Facilier, and the Evil Queen. The show features musical numbers, pyrotechnics, and live performances, and takes place several times nightly in front of Cinderella Castle.

“Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” Fireworks Show

Hosted by Jack Skellington, this fireworks display is unique to the Halloween party. The show transforms Cinderella Castle using projection mapping and effects, while fireworks and music carry guests through a Halloween-themed story starring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. The show is exclusive to party nights and is considered a must-see highlight.

New Dance Party for 2025

For the first time, a dance party inspired by ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires will be offered, targeting younger guests and fans of the Disney Channel franchise. Expect themed music, costumed performers, and high-energy interaction zones in Tomorrowland or Fantasyland.

Ride Overlays and Halloween Enhancements

Several attractions receive seasonal overlays exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. These include:

  • Space Mountain, which operates in complete darkness with a unique Halloween soundtrack

  • Mad Tea Party, where lighting effects and music create a whimsical yet eerie vibe

  • Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, featuring a holiday-themed comedy performance

These overlays offer a fresh take on familiar attractions and are available only during party hours.

Trick-or-Treating and Food Offerings

Walt Disney World continues its long-standing tradition of trick-or-treat stations throughout Magic Kingdom, with individually wrapped candy distributed by Cast Members. Allergy-friendly treats are also available at designated stations for those with dietary restrictions.

Additional Planning Information

  • Tickets must be purchased in advance. No on-site sales are offered once dates are sold out.

  • Costumes are welcome for all ages, though Disney has published guidelines regarding costume length, accessories, and face coverings.

  • Guests may enter Magic Kingdom at 4:00 p.m. on party days, even if the official event start time is later.

  • No park pass reservation is required for party ticket holders on the day of the event.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has become one of Disney’s most anticipated annual traditions. With a blend of Halloween whimsy, character experiences, and family-friendly entertainment, the event offers something special for newcomers and seasoned parkgoers alike.

But this year’s overwhelming demand has left most dates unavailable—and the three that remain are expected to sell out shortly. If you're planning a fall trip to Walt Disney World and hope to attend the party, it’s best to act now.
