Universal Guest Left Stunned After Terrifying Incident

A day at Universal Orlando Resort is supposed to deliver thrills, laughs, and memories worth sharing. Yet for one visitor, the excitement of a day in the parks was overshadowed by an unsettling experience inside the line for a fan-favorite attraction, Revenge of the Mummy.

Theme park queues are designed to be immersive, keeping guests entertained while they wait. But they are also tight, crowded spaces, and in rare moments, those conditions can make people feel uncomfortable. For many readers, this latest story serves as a reminder that safety inside the parks is just as important as the rides themselves.

Universal Orlando regularly emphasizes guest well-being, but situations like this—though isolated—highlight why knowing your options is essential when problems arise.

A Guest’s Story Surfaces Online

Details of the incident emerged in a Reddit thread on the Universal Orlando community page. A user, posting under the handle u/Gta6MePleaseBrigade, explained that their day was disrupted when another man in the queue allegedly made odd noises, unwanted gestures, and physical contact.

“This guy starts howling and kissing at me… and he grabbed my waist,” the guest wrote. “I told him not to touch me… This man touched me again and I lost it.”

Other parkgoers reportedly stepped in, with Team Members moving the guest to the front of the line. According to the account, the alleged offender followed, adding to the stress of the moment. To complicate matters further, Revenge of the Mummy reportedly broke down during the ride cycle, leaving riders stuck for about half an hour.

In the same Reddit thread, a commenter identifying as a Team Member, u/savingat30, noted that Security can be called to handle situations of this nature:

“Security comes to hear you out, take a witness statement, and if they find them credible, they may review footage and trespass the offender.”

Since first stepping inside the Magic Kingdom at nine years old, I knew I was destined to be a theme Park enthusiast. Although I consider myself a theme Park junkie, I still have much to learn and discover about Disney. Universal Orlando Resort has my heart; being an Annual Passholder means visiting my favorite places on Earth when possible! When I’m not writing about Disney, Universal, or entertainment news, you’ll find me cruising on my motorcycle, hiking throughout my local metro parks, or spending quality time with my girlfriend, family, or friends.
