Disneyland Paris Resort has confirmed that a new look for Mickey Mouse will debut when the resort’s second theme park reopens under its updated identity next year. The refreshed character design is part of a much larger transformation taking place at the former Walt Disney Studios Park, which will reopen as Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026.
Disney Adventure World Confirms Its Opening Date

The park’s upcoming debut was announced on November 24, marking the final stages of a multi-year overhaul aimed at shifting the experience away from traditional movie-making themes. When the new version of the park opens, it will resemble the evolution of Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort, shifting fully into immersive lands built around well-known franchises. The lineup includes updated existing areas such as World of Pixar and Marvel Avengers Campus, a new Tangled (2010) attraction, 15 additional dining locations, the World of Frozen, and a nighttime spectacular titled Disney Cascade of Lights.
The World of Frozen area will debut alongside the rest of the second European Disney park on March 29. Inspired by Frozen (2013), the land will offer several attractions, including Frozen Ever After, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, and a dedicated meet-and-greet with Anna and Elsa.
Mickey and Minnie Introduce New Designs for 2026

Mickey and Minnie Mouse will play a major role in the reopening, returning to the park with brand-new Victorian-inspired costumes designed for the Adventure Bay area. Disneyland Paris Resort shared the first look at the concept art for the updated characters on Monday.

As these images are early design sketches, the final appearance of the characters may change before the park reopens.
More Additions Coming After Opening Day

Disneyland Paris Resort has also confirmed that Disney Adventure World will continue expanding beyond 2026. Plans include a land inspired by The Lion King (1994), complete with a large log flume attraction, and a “flying carousel” based on Up (2009) that will be built in the Adventure Way section of the park. Neither project has been given a formal opening date.
