Major Ride Overhauls and Brand-New Adventures Are Hitting Disney in 2026

Planning a Disney trip in 2026? You're in luck—because that year is shaping up to be one of the biggest for new attractions across Disney Parks. From enhanced classics to brand-new rides built from scratch, Disney is introducing 11 major ride openings or upgrades in a single year.

Here’s a park-by-park guide to everything arriving in 2026.

Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World)

  • Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will now include missions featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu. New destinations will be added, and the ride’s interactive elements are expanding.

EPCOT

  • Soarin’ Around the World will temporarily switch to Soarin’ Across America in honor of the country’s semiquincentennial. New scenes, music, and scents will create an updated airborne tour across the U.S.

The Disneyland version of Smugglers Run and Soarin’ will also receive the same updates as their Florida counterparts, syncing up both coasts with fresh experiences.

  • Buzz Lightyear’s ride is being replaced by a Wreck-It Ralph attraction that drops guests into the Sugar Rush universe. The gameplay is interactive and family-friendly, with Ralph and Vanellope guiding riders through digital chaos.

Disneyland Paris

The park will reopen in March 2026 under its new name, Disney Adventure World. On day one, guests will get access to:

  • Raiponce Tangled Spin, a lantern-filled spinner featuring Rapunzel’s famous “I See the Light” moment.

  • Frozen Ever After, the same boat-style ride seen at EPCOT, opening alongside the new World of Frozenland.

That’s 11 total rides either debuting or returning with big changes in 2026—and that doesn’t even count the themed lands or supporting updates. If there was ever a time to start planning your next Disney trip, this is it.
