Universal Makes Technical Mistake as Halloween Horror Nights Tickets Release

Halloween Horror Nights 35 single-night tickets for August and September were initially unavailable, leading to confusion among fans. Despite the excitement over ticket sales that began early Thursday morning, by 9 a.m., no tickets were listed for those months. However, by 10 a.m., the issue was resolved, and tickets became available, though more glitches could occur due to high traffic. This timing was particularly unfortunate given the enthusiasm for the event returning to Universal Studios Florida on August 28, 2026, its earliest start date yet.

The New Scream Early Add-On Is Cool Though

New this year, Universal is offering the Scream Early Ticket Add-On, which allows guests to add Universal Studios Florida admission after 2:00 p.m. to their same-day Halloween Horror Nights event ticket and start the screams early. Guests will get early access to at least three haunted houses starting at 2:00 p.m., plus time to enjoy other attractions through regular scheduled daytime closing, with pricing starting at $70 per person. Honestly, this is a great option for people who want to maximize their Halloween Horror Nights experience.

Single-night tickets are priced depending on the date and start at $88, which is an increase of roughly $6 from last year, and honestly, ticket prices just keep going up every single year, but people keep paying them because Halloween Horror Nights is that popular.

Universal Express Pass Got More Expensive Too

Express Passes allow Halloween Horror Nights attendees to utilize a dedicated line and avoid the standby queue. These are available starting at $169.99 per person, which is an increase of $30 compared to last year. These passes do not guarantee “front of the line access,” but instead provide a shorter wait. With guests typically expecting to wait just half of the posted stand-by wait time, and honestly, $169.99 is a lot of money, but if you're trying to hit all the haunted houses in one night, it might be worth it.

Premium Scream Night Is Back

Premium Scream Night is returning on August 27 or October 19, with tickets including access to haunted houses with shorter wait times. Also includes all-you-care-to-enjoy select food and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as free self-parking. Tickets start at $400 per person. The price is wild, but it's designed for guests willing to pay a premium for enhanced access and amenities.

The Universal Tours Are Expensive But Worth It

R.I.P. Tours offer direct access to all haunted houses and shows, led by a tour guide, with pricing starting at $400 per person. These tours include priority VIP entry to haunted houses, a commemorative R.I.P. Tour credential, lanyard, and pin, complimentary valet parking, a pre-tour reception in Cafe La Bamba, and Universal Express Unlimited ride access. Honestly, if you can afford it, the R.I.P. Tours are the best way to experience Halloween Horror Nights.

Jack The Clown and Dr. Oddfellow Are Back at Universal

The fan-favorite original characters Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow will be returning to “wreak havoc together” at this year's Halloween Horror Nights. This is creating excitement among longtime fans. Some event merchandise is already online, allowing fans to purchase Halloween Horror Nights 35 items even before the event begins.

After all the fun Halloween Horror Nights news that came out this weekend, announcing dates, pricing, new add-ons, and character returns. This morning, we had some disappointing news: single-night tickets for August and September were unavailable. But as of about 10 a.m., the glitch has been resolved. Be aware that it could recur throughout the day due to high website traffic.
