Disney Is Standing With the LGBTQ Community This June and the Parks Show It

June arrived, and Disney World came out swinging for Pride Month. Across three of the four Walt Disney World theme parks, there are dedicated photo opportunities, murals, a limited-time drink, and merchandise installations that represent something more intentional than a token rainbow overlay on existing content. Disney has been building its Pride Month presence at the parks over the past several years, and the 2026 version reflects that accumulated commitment in the specific details of what is available and where.

Here is everything that is currently up and running and exactly where to find it.

EPCOT Has the Best Photo Op at Disney Right Now

The Spaceship Earth rainbow mural outside Connections Cafe is back for 2026, and it remains the most visually compelling Pride Month installation Disney has put together across the entire resort. The location is ideal. It sits just outside Connections Cafe next to Spaceship Earth in the park's entrance area, which means guests moving through the front of EPCOT will encounter it without any additional navigation required.

The mural depicts the top of Spaceship Earth with a rainbow arcing over it and faux-colored reflections below. Heart-shaped stripes above the rainbow represent the Progress Pride flag rather than just the original six-color rainbow, incorporating black and brown stripes representing people of color in the LGBTQ community alongside the colors of the transgender flag. The word Love appears across the center of the stripes.

The design choice to use the Progress Pride flag rather than the traditional rainbow alone is a meaningful distinction. It reflects a deliberate effort to represent the full breadth of the LGBTQ community rather than the most simplified version of Pride Month visual language. For guests who want a Pride Month EPCOT photo, the Spaceship Earth mural is the one to find first.

Hollywood Studios Has the Most Inclusive Installation

The Mickey Balloons Pride photo op has returned to a backstage gate along Grand Avenue at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and it is the most comprehensive Pride Month visual display across the Walt Disney World parks in terms of the range of identities represented.

A flat of Mickey-shaped balloons is attached to the gate so guests can pose as though they are holding them, creating the classic balloon photograph in a Pride Month context. Each balloon is striped with colors representing a different Pride flag. The eleven flags represented include bisexual, asexual, intersex, rainbow, non-binary, genderqueer, pansexual, polysexual, transgender, lesbian, and the Philadelphia Pride flag which incorporates black and brown stripes alongside the traditional rainbow. The center balloon features the Progress Pride flag with the word Love across it and a Mickey silhouette in the letter O.

Eleven different Pride identities represented in one photo opportunity is a specific and intentional choice that goes significantly beyond the most visible and familiar Pride Month symbolism.

Magic Kingdom Has a Drink and a Mural

Magic Kingdom is participating in Pride Month 2026 with both a visual installation and a limited-time food offering. The Mickey Pride mural has returned to Tomorrowland, giving guests a photo opportunity at the most visited theme park at Walt Disney World.

The Pride Slushy is available at Astrofizz, the Tomorrowland snack kiosk, for $6.79. The drink is a Fanta Orange Slushy topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a rainbow Mickey chocolate piece. The rainbow Mickey chocolate piece is the visual centerpiece of the presentation and photographs well against the orange color of the slushy beneath it. The drink is not trying to be anything other than what it is. A cold Fanta Orange Slushy with Pride Month theming on top that makes sense as a refreshing summer park drink during a Florida June that is already delivering the heat it reliably delivers every year.

If Fanta Orange is not your preferred flavor, the rainbow Mickey chocolate piece is still worth a look before someone else at your table claims it.

Disney Merchandise

Pride Month merchandise is available throughout the Walt Disney World parks and resort during June. Inventory tends to move quickly on the more popular items, so guests who have specific pieces in mind benefit from looking earlier in the month rather than later.

Disney World is celebrating Pride Month 2026 across EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom right now. The Spaceship Earth mural, the balloon photo op, and the Pride Slushy are all there, and they are all worth finding before June ends.
