Toy Story 5 (2026) is almost here, bringing Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the rest of Andy's beloved toys back to the big screen for another adventure. Watch the trailer below:
Directed by Andrew Stanton, co-directed by Kenna Harris, and produced by Lindsey Collins and Jessica Choi, Toy Story 5 reunites the gang for a new story centered around the growing influence of technology. According to Pixar's official synopsis:
“The toys are back in Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 5, and this time it's Toy meets Tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang's jobs are challenged when they're introduced to what kids are obsessed with today….electronics!”
The film also sees Jessie take on a more prominent role than ever before. Introduced in Toy Story 2 (1999), the cowgirl has become one of the franchise's most popular characters, and her expanded role has generated plenty of discussion among fans ahead of the sequel's release.
Adding to the excitement, Taylor Swift performs the film's title song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which draws inspiration from Jessie's journey throughout the series and embraces a country-inspired sound reminiscent of the singer's early work.

But while all eyes are currently on Toy Story 5, another major announcement has ensured that fans won't have to wait long for their next return to this world.
