Disney Just Dropped a Halloween Mystery and Only a Few Guests Get the Answer

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are now available to the general public, and news about the 2026 event is moving so fast that guests who aren't paying attention right now will miss something important. Halloween night is gone. October pricing has climbed to its highest range in the event's history. And Disney Vacation Club members just received an announcement about an exclusive party perk that Disney has deliberately left unexplained.

That last part is the one worth talking about.

The Keepsake Nobody Can Identify

Disney confirmed that eligible DVC members attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year can claim a special Halloween keepsake at McKim's Mile House, the member lounge in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom. The pickup window runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time on party nights.

What the keepsake actually is remains completely unknown. Disney made the announcement without describing the item, without sharing a photo, and without giving any indication of what members should expect when they arrive at McKim's Mile House. The lounge itself will be closed for its regular amenities during the event, so the keepsake pickup is the specific draw for members on party nights.

The offer extends to the DVC member plus up to four accompanying guests who also hold valid party tickets. Daytime admission does not qualify. A party ticket is required to claim anything.

DVC members eligible for Membership Extras are the ones who qualify, and Disney noted that keepsake options and experiences remain subject to change.

The Ticket Situation Right Now

General ticket sales for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 are open and the first thing every prospective guest needs to know is that October 31 is already sold out. Halloween night is gone and it is not coming back.

For everything else still on the calendar, here is how the pricing breaks down. October nights are the most expensive in the event's history for the 2026 season, ranging between $189 and $224 per person depending on the specific date. August offers the most affordable entry point. Opening night on August 7 comes in at $159, while all other August nights range between $119 and $149 per person. September falls in the middle as the season builds toward its October peak.

Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders both receive $10 off the standard ticket price on any date they select.

The Full Party Calendar

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 runs from August 7 through October 31. August 7 is the earliest opening night in the event's history, launching more than a week ahead of last year's start.

The complete party dates are:

  • August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
  • October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

August and September parties fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with September adding a Thursday on the 24th. October expands to include most Thursdays alongside the now sold-out Saturday, October 31.

What This All Means for Halloween

For DVC members who were already leaning toward a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night this fall, the mystery keepsake adds a genuine bonus to a night that already had plenty going for it. The $10 discount, the McKim's Mile House pickup window, and the exclusivity of an offer that the broader public does not have access to all combine into a compelling case for prioritizing a party night as a DVC member benefit worth using.

The smartest move right now is selecting a date before more October nights follow Halloween into sold-out territory. What the keepsake turns out to be will remain a mystery until members show up at McKim's Mile House to find out, which in its own way makes the whole thing considerably more interesting than a standard member perk announcement usually manages to be.
