Orlando does fireworks better than almost anywhere else on the planet on a regular Tuesday night. On the Fourth of July, it operates on a completely different level. And in 2026, with America turning 250, every major theme park in the area has decided to treat this particular holiday like the milestone it actually is.
Here is the full breakdown of where to be, what to expect, and when to show up.
Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom is the anchor of Disney's Fourth of July celebration, running Disney's Celebrate America, A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky on July 3, 4, and 5 with fireworks at 9 p.m. each night. Guests inside the park should plan to stake out a viewing spot at least two hours before showtime. For anyone without a park ticket, nearby resort hotels and select dining reservations outside the gates offer a legitimate way to catch the show.
EPCOT is adding something new this year on top of its regular Luminous: The Symphony of Us show. Immediately following the main production, a five-minute patriotic finale called The Heartbeat of Freedom takes over at 9 p.m., complete with red, white, and blue lighting and a burst of large-scale fireworks to close out the night.
Hollywood Studios is running Fantasmic at approximately 9:05 p.m. without any patriotic additions. Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs are sitting this one out.
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal is spreading its Fourth of July celebration across the entire resort, and the scale of it this year is worth paying attention to.
Universal Studios Florida gets things started at 5:15 p.m. with live entertainment at the Music Plaza Stage, patriotic stilt walkers, and character meet-and-greets throughout the evening. The Universal Mega Movie Parade rolls at 6 p.m., followed by CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular at 9 p.m., combining fireworks, drones, projections, and fountains. A bonus pyrotechnic display fires off over the lagoon at 10 p.m.
Epic Universe is hosting its own Fourth of July celebration in Celestial Park with entertainment beginning at 5 p.m. A special fireworks display launches over the Cosmos Fountain at 9 p.m., followed by the park's nightly fountain show at 10 p.m.
Islands of Adventure is running Hogwarts Always continuously from dusk to 10 p.m. with minimal fireworks tied to the Wizarding World theming.
CityWalk opens its evening with live music from American Sirens at 5 p.m., transitions to a DJ at 8 p.m., and keeps patriotic performers moving through the district all night.
SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld is presenting Ignite with a patriotic fireworks finale expected around 10 p.m. It remains one of the few Orlando parks offering reserved seating for Fourth of July fireworks, with a VIP Happy Hour option that includes tapas and drinks for guests who want a more elevated viewing experience.
Beyond the Big Orlando Parks
Fun Spot America is running its Fun on the 4th fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. at both its Orlando and Kissimmee locations, with no admission fee required at either.
Legoland Florida, about 45 minutes from the main tourism corridor, is hosting its Red, White and Boom event with extended hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. A 12-minute fireworks spectacular over Lake Eloise closes out the night at park close, with special glasses distributed from 7:45 p.m. that transform the fireworks into LEGO brick shapes.
SunsetWalk in Kissimmee is running a full patriotic celebration from 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with a laser light show, confetti storm, LED performers, and fireworks. Celebration Town Center is also hosting its Star Spangled Spectacular with live entertainment all evening and fireworks launching at 9:20 p.m.
With America at 250 and Orlando at full capacity, this is shaping up to be one of the most memorable Fourth of July weekends the city has ever put on.
