A death at Magic Kingdom Park that went unreported in the public scanner feed for weeks now has legal representation behind it. The family's attorney is calling for a full and transparent investigation into what happened.
Background on the Death at the Magic Kingdom

Disney Fanatic first reported in late May that a “dead person” call had been logged at Magic Kingdom Park on April 24, 2026, at 11:46 a.m. The response was tied to a roughly 24-hour outage in the public law enforcement scanner feed that caused 64 emergency calls in the Walt Disney World Resort area to go untracked in real time.
Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime discovered the incident after requesting records connected to the outage period, sharing the finding on X (formerly known as Twitter):
April now includes a Dead Person call for Magic Kingdom.

The call was logged to 1460 Magic Kingdom Dr, Bay Lake — the generalized address law enforcement uses to track calls at Magic Kingdom Park — meaning the exact location within the park where the incident occurred remains unconfirmed. The identity of the individual who died has not been publicly released.
The Family's Attorney Speaks Out

On July 7, Rose Mary Parham of Parham Law Firm, LLC, issued a statement to Disney Fanatic confirming that her firm represents the family of the deceased Magic Kingdom Park guest. The statement read:
“Our firm represents the family of the deceased. This was a heartbreaking loss, and the family deserves a full, fair, and transparent investigation into every aspect of the events surrounding their loved one's death. We look forward to obtaining all of the relevant facts and ensuring that every aspect of this tragedy is thoroughly examined. Out of respect for the family and the ongoing investigation, we will have no further comment at this time.”
Walt Disney World Resort has not issued any statement about the April 24 death at Magic Kingdom Park. Disney Fanatic will continue to follow this story as it develops.
Disney Fanatic sends its deepest condolences to the loved ones of the person who died in this incident at Magic Kingdom Park.
