One of the most iconic residents of the Haunted Mansion is stepping out of the attraction and into the broader Disneyland Resort experience, and he's bringing a popcorn bucket with him.

On July 16, Disneyland Resort confirmed that a Haunted Mansion Hatbox Ghost popcorn bucket is coming to the Southern California Disney parks as part of a wave of food and beverage offerings tied to the D23 Expo, which descends on the Anaheim Convention Center from August 14 through 16, 2026. How To Bring the Haunted Mansion Experience Home
The Haunted Mansion Hatbox Ghost popcorn bucket goes on sale at Disneyland Resort on August 13, 2026 — one day before the D23 Expo officially opens — and will be available while supplies last. Guests can find it at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, Harbour Galley, and select popcorn carts throughout Disneyland Park, as well as select popcorn carts in Disney California Adventure Park.
Whether mobile ordering will be an option hasn't been confirmed. Given the popularity of Haunted Mansion merchandise and the scale of D23 Expo foot traffic expected that weekend, this one is likely to move fast. Arriving early on August 13 is strongly recommended for anyone determined to bring the Hatbox Ghost home.
