Confirmed: Disney World Eliminating 10 Annual Passholder Perks Beginning August 1

Disney World Annual Passholders have enjoyed some unusually valuable extras this summer, but time is almost up.

Beginning August 1, a collection of limited-time Passholder benefits will disappear across Walt Disney World. The changes affect everything from substantial restaurant discounts to exclusive merchandise, specialty drinks, a character experience, and even a Passholder-only space inside EPCOT.

The good news is that Disney isn't stripping away 10 permanent Annual Pass benefits. These offerings were introduced as part of the 2026 V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days celebration, which began May 1 and was always designed as a limited-time promotion.

Still, Passholders who have been using them may notice a big difference once July ends.

Dining Discounts Are Among the Biggest Losses

For Passholders who regularly dine around Walt Disney World, the restaurant discounts may be the hardest benefit to lose.

Disney has offered 20% discounts at Be Our Guest Restaurant during lunch and The Crystal Palace during lunch and dinner.

Elsewhere, Passholders could save an impressive 40% at several restaurants.

Participating locations included Biergarten Restaurant for lunch, Coral Reef Restaurant for dinner, Garden Grill Restaurant for lunch and dinner, Hollywood & Vine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Tiffins Restaurant for dinner, and Tusker House Restaurant for lunch and dinner.

The 40% savings also extended beyond the theme parks. Boatwright's Dining Hall, Cape May Cafe, Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, and Whispering Canyon Cafe participated during select meals.

Those promotional discounts end after July 31.

Exclusive Passholder Merchandise Is Going Away

Passholders are also running out of time to purchase several items created specifically for the summer celebration.

One is an exclusive popcorn bucket featuring artwork from designer and illustrator Ashley Taylor. Disney made the bucket available at locations throughout Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs.

An exclusive Woody and Buzz Passholder magnet has also been available at Creations Shop in EPCOT.

Then there's the V.I.Passholder merchandise collection.

The lineup includes a zip-up hoodie, T-shirt, Loungefly crossbody bag, baseball hat, and Corkcicle canteen. Passholders could find the merchandise at Creations Shop, the Emporium, World of Disney, and Discovery Trading Company.

A Passholder-exclusive tumbler featuring artwork from Joey Chou rounds out another portion of the departing merchandise.

EPCOT's Passholder Lounge Is About to Close

Perhaps one of the most practical summer perks has been the exclusive V.I.Passholder lounge at Restaurant Marrakesh in EPCOT's Morocco Pavilion.

The lounge gave Passholders an air-conditioned place to escape Central Florida's summer heat between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Inside, Disney offered complimentary snacks, water, and Moroccan mint tea. Passholders could also receive a special button and take advantage of a Disney PhotoPass Animated Magic Shot.

Beginning August 1, that temporary Passholder space will no longer be available.

Exclusive Food and Character Experiences Are Ending

Disney also partnered with Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company for several Passholder-exclusive beverages.

Five specialty drinks appeared around the resort: Lucky Starlight Cold Brew at Magic Kingdom, Parisian Pebble Cold Brew at EPCOT, Rockin' Cold Brew at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Forbidden Mountain Cold Brew at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Cinnamon Crunch Latte at Disney Springs.

At EPCOT's Karamell-Küche, Passholders could also purchase an exclusive Mickey Chocolate Cake Pop made with Werther's Original Caramel.

Finally, EPCOT hosted a Passholder-exclusive character meet-and-greet at the Magic Eye Theater. The experience operated from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and is scheduled to conclude July 31.

10 Passholder Perks End August 1

When broken into categories, Passholders are losing 10 promotional offerings: the 20% dining discounts, 40% dining discounts, Ashley Taylor popcorn bucket, Woody and Buzz magnet, V.I.Passholder merchandise collection, Joey Chou tumbler, EPCOT Passholder lounge, Joffrey's specialty beverages, Karamell-Küche cake pop, and exclusive EPCOT character meet-and-greet.

Again, these are limited-time V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days benefits rather than longstanding Annual Pass perks.

But that doesn't make the deadline any less important.

Passholders visiting Walt Disney World before August 1 have only a few days remaining to make one last lounge visit, save up to 40% on participating meals, pick up exclusive merchandise, or experience the other offerings before the summer celebration comes to an end.
