Disney dropped the full Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party character list, and one longtime regular is missing.
Also, Halloween starts on Friday. As in this Friday.
Look, the August 7 start date blindsides people every single year. It is still 95 degrees in Central Florida, and Magic Kingdom is about to be handing out candy.
Everybody plans these nights their own way. Some people treat trick-or-treating like a logistics problem. Some park themselves on Main Street, U.S.A. hours early for Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Some are there purely for the food, which has become a legitimate draw in its own right.
And then there is the character crowd, who plan the entire night around meets.
If that is you, this is your Super Bowl. The party is the only shot you get at certain characters all year, and the costumed versions of the regulars only exist inside these five hours. Lines get ugly fast.
Here is the full 2026 lineup.
Main Street, U.S.A.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in Halloween Attire, Town Square Theater.
Jack Skellington and Sally, Town Square Theater.
Adventureland
Aladdin, Abu, Princess Jasmine, and Genie, Agrabah Marketplace.
Captain Jack Sparrow and Pirates, Captain Jack's Buccaneer Bash at Adventureland Stage. New as an entertainment experience, though Jack has met in the past years.
Frontierland
Chip ‘n' Dale, near the Tiana's Bayou Adventure exit. Brand new for 2026.
Shaker, Wendell, Romeo McGrowl, and Big Al, roaming Frontierland.
Liberty Square
Mirabel and Bruno, Liberty Square Gazebo. Back after doing 2024 and skipping 2025.
Haunted Mansion Residents, The Haunted Mansion.
Tomorrowland
Stitch, Angel, and Lilo, Stitch's Masquerade Mashup at Rockettower Plaza Stage. Big new addition, and it runs as entertainment rather than a standard meet.
Fantasyland
Alice, Mad Hatter, and Queen of Hearts, outside the Mad Tea Party.
Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella, Fantasyland.
Ariel and Prince Eric, near Under the Sea, Journey of the Little Mermaid.
Gaston, near Gaston's Tavern.
Pluto, Storybook Circus entrance.
Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in Halloween Attire, Pete's Silly Sideshow.
Pooh as a Bumble Bee, Piglet as a Butterfly, Eeyore as a Clown, and Tigger as a Pirate, The Thotful Spot.
About Goofy
Here is the thing people caught immediately.
Donald sat out 2025, and Daisy was paired with Goofy instead. This year, Donald is back next to Daisy. Goofy is not on the list anywhere.
Chip ‘n' Dale are the actual new addition. Mirabel and Bruno are back from a year off.
The Ones Disney Didn't Announce
Party veterans know to watch for this.
Disney has teased unannounced appearances, including Hitchhiking Ghosts. Last year, they turned up in Frontierland on the balcony between Frontier Trading Post and Country Bear Musical Jamboree, and on the Diamond Horseshoe Stage.
Villains showed up off-list, too. Mother Gothel and Cruella de Vil on Main Street, U.S.A. Maleficent and the Evil Queen posted up in the candy trail queue at Princess Fairytale Hall.
None of it is promised again. Keep your head up anyway.
Tickets Are Going Quick
If you have not bought yet, move.
Already gone as of July 30: Friday, August 7; opening night; Tuesday, August 11; Friday, August 14; Tuesday, August 18; Friday, October 9; Tuesday, October 13; and Saturday, October 31.
Then September cracked. As of July 31, Friday, September 4 sold out, ending the streak of wide-open September dates.
Still available in August: the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 28th, and 30th. September has the most left overall. October still has a healthy list.
Pricing climbed with demand. Originally $119 to $229 adult and $109 to $219 for kids nine and under. Remaining dates now run $139 to $224 for adults, $129 to $214 for children.
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members knock $10 off on select nights through early October. Kids two and under are free with a paying adult.
How the Night Actually Works
Party runs 7 p.m. to midnight on select nights, August 7 through October 31. Ticket holders get into Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m., so up to 8 hours.
Besides characters, you get trick-or-treating parkwide, exclusive food and drink, themed merch, ride overlays, and entertainment, including Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular over Cinderella Castle.
Strategy, If You Care About Meeting Disney Chatacters
Rare characters mean brutal lines, and Jack Skellington and Sally are historically the worst of the bunch. Line up the second the party starts. Do not wait.
Stitch and Captain Jack run on showtimes, not queues. Build the night around those.
Frontierland's roamers do not require planning. Walk through, and you will run into them.
