Walt Disney World Resort guests were evacuated from one pavilion at EPCOT today.
According to updates shared by guests, the impacted pavilion at World Showcase was Germany, where guests were forced out of buildings amid ringing alarms.

Germany Pavilion Evacuation Reported
As per X user @mainstmagic, guests were rushed out of buildings while alarms blared throughout the Germany pavilion.
Designed like a Bavarian village, the Germany pavilion is home to Biergarten Restaurant, where guests can dine on German-inspired dishes alongside live entertainment. It also includes Sommerfest, which serves options including bratwurst, pretzels, and German beer.

The pavilion also has several shops selling German-themed, toys, and glassware, while Karamell-Küche specializes in treats made with Werther’s Original caramel. Outside, guests can explore the courtyard and the nearby miniature German village and model railway.
It's unclear why the EPCOT pavilion was evacuated. However, this isn't the first time.
Evacuations can happen for numerous reasons, including fire alarms and other safety concerns. Reports indicate that parts of EPCOT’s Germany pavilion use voice-evacuation systems, which can play automated instructions directing guests to leave affected areas.

Disney has not confirmed why the pavilion was evacuated.
EPCOT saw another evacuation just days ago, when a fire alarm forced hundreds of guests from The Land pavilion during severe weather. Guests were directed outside into heavy rain, while Disney never publicly confirmed what triggered the alarm. No fire or injuries were reported.
Elsewhere, guests evacuated “it’s a small world” at Magic Kingdom on July 1 after smoke filled part of the attraction. Disney later confirmed that a guest’s personal phone charger had caught fire. Cast members quickly extinguished it, nobody was injured, and the ride reopened shortly afterward.
