Walt Disney World is packing a lot into 2027, and food is becoming a surprisingly big part of those plans.
Guests already have major park expansions and a new Disney resort to look forward to. Those projects will bring new experiences across the property, but Disney isn't stopping with attractions and hotel rooms.
Six new dining locations are also on the way.
Some will give park guests quick places to eat while exploring brand-new areas. Others will become part of Disney's Lakeshore Lodge when the resort welcomes its first guests.
Menus and exact opening dates remain unknown for several locations, but Disney has provided an early look at what each will offer.
Animal Kingdom Gets a Giant Restaurant
Let's start with one of the largest.
Pueblo Esperanza at Disney's Animal Kingdom will include a massive hacienda containing one of the largest quick-service restaurants at Walt Disney World.
Unlike several other locations on this list, Disney hasn't announced an official name or menu yet. That leaves plenty to learn before the restaurant welcomes its first guests.

- Location: Pueblo Esperanza at Disney's Animal Kingdom
- Official name: Not announced
- Dining style: Quick service
- Setting: Large hacienda
- Size: One of Disney World's largest quick-service restaurants
- Opening: 2027

Harryhausen's Comes to Life
Disney's Hollywood Studios will also expand its restaurant lineup when Monstropolis begins welcoming guests.
Harryhausen's takes inspiration from the restaurant featured in Monsters, Inc. (2001), bringing another recognizable piece of the movie into the new land.
Sushi will appear on the menu, but Disney has confirmed guests will find non-sushi choices as well. The company has also teased that the menu will stand apart from what's currently available elsewhere at Walt Disney World.

Moonglade Offers Something Different
The dining expansion isn't limited to the parks.
Disney's Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027, and Moonglade will become the resort's table-service restaurant.

Harryhausen's won't stand alone inside Monstropolis.
Archie's Scare Pig Pizza will provide a quicker dining alternative for guests exploring the new area.

Bay Lake Provisions Adds Flexibility
Back at Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, Bay Lake Provisions will give guests a casual option throughout the day.
Disney describes the location as an all-day, quick-service marketplace. An open kitchen will help shape the atmosphere, while woodland creatures inspired by Disney classics will add some familiar touches to the space.
That combination should make Bay Lake Provisions an easy choice when guests don't want a longer sit-down meal.

Paint Out Point Goes Outdoors
The final addition to Disney's Lakeshore Lodge will put guests close to the water.

The location will offer shareable bites and specialty beverages, providing guests with a convenient option while spending time by the pool.

Dining Becomes Part of Disney's Expansion
Taken together, these six locations show just how much Walt Disney World is adding in 2027.
Lakeshore Lodge will immediately contribute three new dining experiences when it opens on July 1. Meanwhile, Monstropolis will bring two movie-inspired restaurants to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Pueblo Esperanza will add a huge quick-service destination at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
There are still plenty of unanswered questions. Disney hasn't revealed full menus, prices, or exact opening dates for several of the park restaurants.
Those announcements will come later, but guests can already expect a much larger dining lineup in 2027. With new park areas and a new resort arriving alongside these restaurants, deciding where to eat could become another big part of planning a Disney World vacation.
