Disney Springs is getting a quiet upgrade for souvenir collectors, as Walt Disney World Resort continues to swap in next-generation pressed-penny machines throughout the popular shopping, dining, and entertainment district.
A Resort-Wide Machine Overhaul

This replacement effort isn't new to Disney Springs alone. Walt Disney World Resort has been steadily updating pressed-penny machines across Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and the Disney Resort hotels for several years now. The newer machines ditch the classic hand-crank mechanism and guest-supplied coin in favor of digital screens and preloaded blank copper discs ready for pressing. Guests can select one design for $1 cash, or purchase the complete set of eight for $5 using either cash or card.
WDWNT reported on September 9 that at least two additional next-generation machines had recently arrived at Disney Springs and shared a photo of the new installations:
World of Disney Introduces a Princess Collection

The first new machine is located inside World of Disney, the Central Florida Disney vacation destination's flagship merchandise store. Its eight designs pay tribute to classic Disney Princesses, including Tinker Bell from Peter Pan (1953), Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Cinderella from Cinderella (1950), Belle from Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aurora from Sleeping Beauty (1959), Ariel from The Little Mermaid (1989), Rapunzel from Tangled (2010), and Tiana from The Princess and the Frog (2009).
Unlike many machines found elsewhere across Walt Disney World Resort, this particular dispenser skips location-specific theming entirely, opting instead for a simple gray-and-black design.
Winnie the Pooh Debuts Near the Art Corner

The second new addition sits just beside the Winnie the Pooh photo-op spot near the Art Corner store in the Marketplace neighborhood. Every design in this collection includes at least one character from the Hundred Acre Wood, along with the Disney Springs logo and a signature from the featured character.
Guests can choose from designs featuring Eeyore sitting on Tigger's shoulders; Winnie the Pooh with Piglet; Winnie the Pooh eating “hunny”; Tigger; Piglet riding on Eeyore's back; Winnie the Pooh alongside Piglet and Eeyore; Rabbit; and Tigger paired with Winnie the Pooh.
