Disneyland Paris has opened reservations for the first refurbished Disney Sequoia Lodge rooms. The renovated Classic Rooms are now bookable for stays beginning February 19, 2027, according to an official Disneyland Paris update.
That creates a new planning decision for travelers targeting early 2027. What Disney has not announced is equally important. There is no official evidence that a mass booking lockout is underway, that the refurbished inventory is disappearing, or that room rates are broadly “skyrocketing” because of the opening.
Disney Sequoia Lodge Refurbished Rooms Now Have a Booking Date
Disneyland Paris first announced the large-scale Disney Sequoia Lodge refurbishment as part of its broader hotel transformation program. However, Disney has not published inventory totals for the renovated Classic Rooms, so the number of rooms entering sale for February 19 cannot be inferred from the announcement.
That date also intersects with other changes announced for the hotel. Inside the Magic previously reported that Redwood Bar and Lounge, Northwest Passage, and some hotel services are expected to become temporarily unavailable from February 19 as refurbishment work moves forward, while character meet-and-greets are expected to continue.
Bambi and Pocahontas Artwork Previews the New Look
The newest official update focuses on artwork created through a collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Disney animation teams. Disneyland Paris previewed pieces inspired by Bambi and Pocahontas that will appear in refurbished Classic Rooms.
Those images reinforce the direction Disney outlined earlier in 2026. Instead of abandoning the hotel’s woodland identity, the project is intended to modernize the interiors while expanding the range of Disney characters connected to forests and nature.
Brave is also part of the room program. Disney previously confirmed that the three room themes would separately draw from Bambi (1942), Pocahontas (1995), and the Pixar film Brave (2012). The rooms are the first guest-facing phase of a property-wide redesign.
Booking Demand Could Matter, but Disney Has Not Confirmed a Sellout
Opening a reservation window for newly renovated Disney rooms can create urgency. February 19 now gives Disney vacationers a specific date around which to build a Disneyland Paris trip.
Still, availability and price should be treated as live booking variables, not as evidence of a confirmed shortage. Disneyland Paris has not announced that the refurbished rooms sold out immediately, imposed a mass booking lockout, or introduced a resort-wide price surge tied to the renovated rooms.
