Walt Disney World is adding more opportunities for Disney Vacation Club members to stay inside the theme parks after the regular operating day comes to an end.
Disney Vacation Club has confirmed three additional Moonlight Magic events for the remainder of 2026, with EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom both receiving new dates.
EPCOT will host an additional Moonlight Magic event on October 15, 2026. Animal Kingdom will follow with two events on November 30 and December 22.
That means some eligible DVC members visiting Disney World this fall and holiday season will have another chance to experience the parks after hours.
Three More Moonlight Magic Events Are Coming
Moonlight Magic isn't simply an extension of normal operating hours for every Disney World guest.
The complimentary events are a Membership Extra offered to eligible Disney Vacation Club members. Registration is required, and space is limited.
Once inside, attendees can enjoy select attractions with shorter waits, character greetings, entertainment and food. More importantly, they get additional time inside the park after regular operations.
The Animal Kingdom dates are particularly interesting because nighttime hours can give the park a completely different atmosphere.
The December 22 event also takes place just days before Christmas, putting one of the newly added events during an especially busy period of Disney World's holiday season.
EPCOT's October 15 event arrives during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
Registration Begins Soon
Eligible members who have already attended a Moonlight Magic event during 2026 aren't automatically excluded from these new dates. Disney says those members can still register for one of the additional events.
Early registration begins September 24 for eligible members with qualifying Resort reservations.
General registration then opens October 1 for all eligible members, with limited availability.
It's important to remember that Moonlight Magic is different from Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. This isn't Disney announcing later operating hours for everyone visiting EPCOT or Animal Kingdom on these dates.
Instead, Disney is extending the 2026 Moonlight Magic schedule with three exclusive after-hours opportunities.
For eligible DVC members who can secure registration, that means another chance to stay inside EPCOT or Animal Kingdom after most guests have called it a night.
