Walt Disney World raised Annual Pass prices today. All four tiers. Effective immediately.
Pixie Dust went up $10. Incredi-Pass went up $120.
Guess which one most people are allowed to buy.
Some context.
| Annual Pass | Old | New | Increase |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pixie Dust Pass | $489 | $499 | +$10 (about 2%) |
| Pirate Pass | $869 | $909 | +$40 (about 4.6%) |
| Sorcerer Pass | $1,099 | $1,139 | +$40 (about 3.6%) |
| Incredi-Pass | $1,629 | $1,749 | +$120 (about 7.4%) |
Before tax. And that Incredi-Pass bump is three times bigger than anything else on the board.
Now the Eligibility Rules
Nothing changed here, which is exactly why this stings.
Florida residents can buy all four.
Eligible Disney Vacation Club members can buy a Sorcerer or an Incredi-Pass.
Everybody else gets an Incredi-Pass. That is the entire menu.
So a Florida resident on the cheap tier is out ten bucks. An out-of-state family with no DVC points is out $120, because there is nothing else they can purchase.
The biggest increase on the list landed squarely on the people with no way around it.
Disney Basically Explained This
Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum told CNN the company prices “market by market, rather than with one broad brush.”
Hold that up against the numbers.
Florida residents: four options, 2 percent increase.
Out-of-state visitors: one option, 7.4 percent increase.
That is market-by-market pricing working precisely as advertised. The market with leverage paid less. The market without it did not.
About That $610
Sorcerer and Incredi-Pass now sit $610 apart.
Some of that is legitimately blockout dates. Incredi-Pass has zero. Pixie Dust is blocked on peak dates and most weekends. Pirate and Sorcerer are somewhere in between. Fine.
But Sorcerer is only sold to Florida residents and eligible DVC members.
So if you are an out-of-state fan without DVC, that $610 is not you choosing a nicer product. That is the surcharge for living somewhere else.
Three Years, Three Hundred Dollars
Incredi-Pass, year by year:
October 2023, $1,449. October 2024, $1,549. October 2025, $1,629. Today, $1,749.
Three hundred dollars. Roughly 21 percent. Three years.
And look at the jumps. Plus $100, plus $80, plus $120.
So no, this is not cooling off. This year was the biggest one yet.
Lightning Lane Got Hit Too, and One Part Is Sneaky
Peak Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind went up $1 to $3. Whatever. The
Lightning Lane Premier Pass ceiling went up $50. At each park.
That is the one actually worth noticing, and almost nobody is covering it. Three dollars on a Single Pass is a rounding error. Fifty dollars per park on Premier Pass stacks up brutally over a multi-park trip.
What Disney Very Carefully Did Not Touch
The $119 cheapest day ticket at Animal Kingdom. Untouched.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass pricing. Untouched.
Pass eligibility rules. Untouched.
Those first two are not accidents. The $119 figure is the number Disney gets to wave around whenever someone says the parks are unaffordable, and Multi Pass is the Lightning Lane most guests actually buy.
Raise the premium stuff. Protect the floor. The marketing line stays alive.
Oh, and peak ticket prices are also going up for November and December 2027 dates.
Remember Where We Already Were
Last October's round pushed 2026 peak tickets to $209 at Magic Kingdom, $204 at Hollywood Studios, $199 at EPCOT, $184 at Animal Kingdom.
First year ever that a single-day Disney World ticket cracked $200.
Parking went from $30 to $35 in that same round.
Today is stacked on top of all of that.
So Do You Renew
If you already knew you were renewing, stop reading. It is done, the price is live.
If you are genuinely unsure, do the division. Take $1,749 and divide by the park days you will actually use. You need about 8 or 9 days before the Incredi-Pass beats a multi-day ticket package, and that threshold has gotten worse every single October for 3 years.
Out-of-state fans, price a ticket package before you renew on autopilot. The Incredi-Pass stopped being an automatic yes a while ago, and an extra $120 doesn't help its case.
