Guests hoping to skip the standby lines at Walt Disney World over the Columbus Day holiday weekend are running out of options.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass, the resort’s priciest line-skipping product, is now sold out at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios for several consecutive days, and the Single Pass alternatives are disappearing just as fast.
At Magic Kingdom, the sellout streak first covered four straight days before a fifth was added. Premier Pass is now unavailable from Thursday, October 8, through Monday, October 12, which is Columbus Day itself. During that window, guests can no longer use Premier Pass for expedited entry to attractions such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The other parks are following suit. EPCOT’s $249 Premier Pass is gone from October 9 through October 11, and October 12 is expected to sell out before the park opens on the holiday. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has no Premier Pass inventory from October 9 through October 12. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the lone holdout, with Premier Pass still fully available.
Premier Pass grants one-time access to the Lightning Lane entrance at each participating attraction, with no return times to book, and its price shifts with demand. Over the next four weeks, Magic Kingdom pricing runs from $299 to $429, and several mid-October dates have already reached the top of that range.

Single Pass Inventory Drying Up
Premier Pass includes one-time access to the headline Single Pass rides, but guests who missed out will find little relief buying those attractions individually. TRON Lightcycle / Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom are both sold out for six consecutive days, October 8 through October 13, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is also sold out on Thursday, October 15.
At EPCOT, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is sold out from October 8 through October 12. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios shows the same five-day run, plus an additional sellout on Wednesday, October 14. And while Animal Kingdom’s Premier Pass remains open, the Single Pass for Avatar Flight of Passage is sold out for Saturday, October 10.
Multi Pass Still Available
At the time of publication, Lightning Lane Multi Pass remains available at all four Disney World theme parks. However, Multi Pass operates on a tiered system and does not include any of the Single Pass attractions listed above.
The October 3 Precedent
The holiday rush follows a Magic Kingdom Premier Pass sellout on Saturday, October 3. With no Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that night, the park ran from 7:30 a.m. Early Theme Park Entry until 11 p.m., a 15-and-a-half-hour day. On party dates, day guests must leave by 6 p.m., shortening the window to use a pass priced per day. October 3 was also the cheapest upcoming Saturday at $379, $50 less per person than October 10 and October 17, a $200 saving for a family of four.

A Revenue Strategy at Work
The pattern reflects Disney Experiences’ current revenue model. With overall attendance softer, high-priced add-ons like Premier Pass raise per-guest spending and strengthen the bottom line.
All prices and availability are correct at the time of publishing.
