Law enforcement was called to the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Contemporary Resort area at Walt Disney World Resort on Thursday evening after a report of a suspected drunk driver. The call arrived while many vacationers were still out enjoying the property.
The Drunk-Driver Report

The Orange County Sheriff's Office received the call at 5:24 p.m. on October 15. The Central Florida law enforcement monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the publicly available scanner entry on X (formerly known as Twitter), posting:

A Google Maps screenshot attached to the post places a pin along World Drive, which runs between Disney's Contemporary Resort and Magic Kingdom Park. That address is a standard marker for emergency responses in this part of Walt Disney World Resort, so it may not reflect where the original drunk-driver report originated.
What Isn't Known

No information has been released on whether deputies located or arrested the suspected drunk driver. Still, nothing suggests a crash followed the initial response, and no vehicle accidents have been reported in the area.
Walt Disney World Resort hasn't commented on Thursday's emergency response. A published police report or criminal charges, if they are filed, could eventually clarify what happened.
Impact on Travel

As of this article's publication, no road closures or traffic disruptions had been reported near Magic Kingdom Park or Disney's Contemporary Resort. Official Walt Disney World Resort transportation, including buses, watercraft, and the Monorail, appeared to be running normally, so Central Florida Disney Park guests can continue with their vacation plans as scheduled.
