‘Halloween’ Officially Confirms Five Returning Stars in New Remake of 1978 Film

John Carpenter's Halloween (1978) remains one of the most influential horror movies ever made. It introduced audiences to Michael Myers and established a franchise that has continued to terrify fans for decades.

Now, the original film has been brought back to life in a new way, with an officially confirmed cast that includes several familiar faces from across the franchise.

Halloween: The Game, developed by IllFonic, is described as a “reimagined extended cut” of the original movie. Released in September, the game recreates Haddonfield and allows players to experience the events of Halloween night from different perspectives, whether they're fighting to survive as one of the town's heroes or taking control of Michael Myers himself.

Several Halloween Actors Return for New Game

The game features an extensive voice cast, with several performers returning to characters associated with the franchise.

Original actor Nick Castle reprises his role as Michael Myers, while Colin Mahan returns as Dr. Loomis, a character he previously voiced in Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills (2021).

Other returning performers include Kristina Klebe, who played Lynda van der Klok in Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) and voices Alexis Purcell in the game; Ken Foree, who portrayed Joe Grizzly in the same movie and now voices Midnight Kingston Pearl; and Mickey Yablans, who played Richie Castle in the original 1978 film and voices a police officer.

The previously announced cast also includes Chelsea Krause as Laurie Strode, Kaitlyn Robrock as Annie Brackett, Angela Carbone as Lynda van der Klok, and Nicholas Leung as Bob Simms.

New additions also include Allegra Clark as Jennifer Aarons, Ryan Colt Levy as Eric Dunn, Zeno Robinson as Thomas Armitage, Ariana Rosario as Rachel Calahan, Javier Prusky as Marcus Navarro, Anairis Quinones as Tanya Harrison, and Spencer Charnas as Richard Hawthorne.

Halloween: The Game is scheduled to receive its first DLC on October 27, featuring locations inspired by Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989).
