Disney World Confirms Another Christmas Party Sellout, Only 15 Dates Remain

Walt Disney World's Christmas celebrations are approaching, but some guests may already be too late to experience one of the resort's most anticipated holiday traditions.

The latest ticket availability update confirms another sold-out November celebration, leaving fewer choices for families planning their holiday visits.

And with the first party just weeks away, the remaining dates could become increasingly important.

Only 15 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Dates Remain

Guests hoping to celebrate Christmas at Magic Kingdom still have opportunities, but the list is getting shorter.

Disney originally scheduled 25 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party evenings for November and December 2026.

Now, 10 of those dates have officially sold out.

According to WDWNT, the newest addition to the sold-out list is Friday, November 20.

That means seven November parties and three December parties have reached capacity.

For anyone planning a Disney World vacation around the Christmas celebration, the latest update is worth paying attention to.

November has been particularly popular, leaving just five dates available for the month.

Those remaining evenings are November 15, 19, 25, 27, and 29.

Meanwhile, guests visiting in December have 10 available dates to choose from: December 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 18.

These dates were still available as of October 19, but Disney can sell out additional evenings without much warning.

Why Guests Keep Paying Extra for This Event

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party isn't included with regular Magic Kingdom admission.

Instead, visitors must purchase a separate ticket to attend the evening celebration.

So what makes the event worth the additional expense?

For starters, the party offers Christmas entertainment and seasonal activities designed specifically for the holiday season.

Previous events have included special fireworks, festive parades, character greetings, live entertainment, and complimentary holiday treats.

Magic Kingdom also provides a festive setting, with Christmas decorations throughout the park.

For guests who love Disney World's holiday traditions, the celebration offers an opportunity to experience the park in a different way.

Another benefit is the extended admission window.

Although the event officially runs from 7 p.m. until midnight, party ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom at 4 p.m.

That gives visitors up to eight hours inside the park using their Christmas party admission.

Guests can spend the earlier portion of their visit enjoying attractions before turning their attention to the seasonal entertainment.

How Much Does Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Cost?

Disney World's Christmas party isn't a small addition to the vacation budget.

Adult tickets, which apply to guests ages 10 and older, range from $189 to $229 before taxes.

Children between ages 3 and 9 receive a $10 reduction from the adult ticket price.

For two adults and two children ages 10 or older, admission could cost between $756 and $916 before taxes.

That price is separate from regular theme park tickets, resort accommodations, and other vacation expenses.

However, guests attending the party don't need to purchase regular daytime Magic Kingdom admission to enter at 4 p.m.

Certain Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can also save money on select evenings.

Still, those discounts won't help if the preferred party date has already sold out.

Another Christmas Celebration Is Still an Option

Visitors who cannot secure Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets aren't completely out of luck.

Disney World also offers Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The separately ticketed celebration provides another way to enjoy seasonal entertainment during a holiday vacation.

According to the latest report, most Jollywood Nights dates still have tickets available.

However, guests should remember that Jollywood Nights and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party offer different experiences.

Those specifically interested in Magic Kingdom's holiday celebration will need to choose from the remaining party dates.

With 40% of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party evenings already sold out, Disney World guests have fewer opportunities to attend than they did just weeks ago.

The remaining 15 celebrations provide some flexibility, particularly in December, but that could change as the holidays approach.

For families determined to experience Magic Kingdom's Christmas party this year, securing tickets now may be the safest way to avoid missing out.
