Disney World Confirms Back-to-Back Thanksgiving Week Sellouts at Magic Kingdom

Thanksgiving is still several weeks away, but Walt Disney World is already seeing major demand for one of Magic Kingdom's most popular holiday celebrations.

Families visiting Orlando during November can expect Christmas decorations, special entertainment, and seasonal experiences throughout the resort.

However, one of Disney World's biggest holiday traditions is becoming harder to experience.

Disney has now confirmed that two highly sought-after dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are completely sold out.

And with only a handful of November dates remaining, families hoping to attend might need to rethink their plans.

Two Major Thanksgiving Week Dates Are Officially Sold Out

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party continues to attract strong interest ahead of the 2026 holiday season.

The latest date to sell out is Friday, November 27.

That evening falls just one day after Thanksgiving, which takes place Thursday, November 26.

The announcement comes shortly after tickets sold out for Wednesday, November 25, the day before Thanksgiving.

Together, these two sellouts eliminate popular opportunities for families hoping to enjoy the Christmas celebration around the holiday.

However, the news doesn't mean Magic Kingdom itself is sold out or closed to regular visitors.

Instead, Disney has stopped selling standard tickets for those particular Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party evenings.

Guests who already purchased admission can still attend as planned.

The event officially takes place from 7 p.m. until midnight, with party ticket holders allowed to enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m.

Disney World Christmas Party Tickets Are Becoming Limited

Families who haven't purchased tickets still have opportunities to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

However, November availability is shrinking.

As of October 21, the remaining November dates are November 15, 19, and 29.

December currently offers more availability, with tickets remaining for December 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 18.

Adult tickets, which apply to guests ages 10 and older, range from $194 to $229 for the remaining dates.

Children ages 3 through 9 receive a $10 discount.

Eligible Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members may also qualify for discounted admission on select nights.

These prices are separate from regular theme park admission, although guests don't need an additional daytime ticket to enter Magic Kingdom during the party's designated admission window.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Brings Exclusive Holiday Entertainment

There's a reason Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party remains one of Disney World's most anticipated annual events.

The celebration features several holiday experiences designed specifically for party guests.

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade brings Disney characters, Christmas floats, dancers, and Santa Claus through Magic Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks fills the sky above Cinderella Castle with fireworks set to seasonal music.

Guests can also experience Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration, a festive castle stage production featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends.

Additional offerings traditionally include holiday character greetings, complimentary cookies and select beverages, seasonal entertainment, and opportunities to enjoy participating attractions.

Disney's final entertainment schedules and attraction availability can vary, so visitors should review the official party information before arriving.

What Should Thanksgiving Visitors Do Now?

Although November 25 and November 27 are no longer available, families visiting over Thanksgiving still have alternatives.

November 29 remains available for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party as of October 21.

Guests can also experience Christmas decorations throughout Magic Kingdom during regular park hours without purchasing party admission.

Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights offers another holiday celebration on select evenings.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays also begins November 27, providing seasonal food, entertainment, and cultural traditions.

For guests determined to experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, however, the latest sellouts serve as an important reminder.

Disney World's Christmas celebrations are approaching quickly, and the remaining November party dates could become unavailable as more families finalize their holiday vacations.
