Two Attacks Reported at Disney World in Less Than Two Hours

Law enforcement was called to two separate battery incidents at Walt Disney World Resort late Monday night, November 2. The calls came from different parts of the property, and officials have released very little about either one.

First Call Near Magic Kingdom

The Orange County Sheriff's Office received the first 911 call at 9:21 p.m., logging it as “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone)” in the Magic Kingdom Park/Disney's Contemporary Resort Area. The monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the scanner report on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 11/2/26 9:21 PM
🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: Magic Kingdom / Contemporary Resort Area

A Google Maps screenshot attached to the post marks a spot on World Drive, between the park and the hotel. Law enforcement regularly uses those coordinates to log responses in this zone, so the call could have come from inside Magic Kingdom Park, from Disney's Contemporary Resort, or from somewhere in between. Because the park didn't close until 10:00 p.m. on Monday, it's possible the incident occurred inside the park.

A Second Report at Port Orleans

At 11:14 p.m., less than two hours later, deputies received a second battery call, this time from Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. @WDWActiveCrime posted:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 11/2/26 11:14 PM
🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

That post's map image places a pin along Riverside Drive within the Moderate Disney Resort hotel. As with the first report, the address may be a generalized location used for logging, not the exact spot where the call originated.

What Remains Unknown

Nothing public indicates whether the two incidents were connected, or whether Disney cast members, guests, or both were involved. It also isn't clear whether anyone was seriously hurt. More details could emerge through Orange County Sheriff's Office police reports or criminal charges, if any are filed.

The My Disney Experience app showed no disruptions at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Contemporary Resort, or Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside following the incidents, so Walt Disney World Resort guests can continue with their plans.
