The holiday season is one of the most exciting times to visit Walt Disney World, but it's also becoming an expensive experience for families who want to enjoy everything Disney offers.
Between regular theme park tickets, hotel reservations, food, and special events, the cost of a Christmas vacation can quickly climb.

Unfortunately, even families willing to spend extra money aren't guaranteed access to some of Disney's most popular holiday experiences.
Another special event has officially sold out, and the timing could cause problems for visitors planning a Thanksgiving vacation.Â
Disney World Removes November 28 Christmas Party From Available Dates
Disney Jollywood Nights is preparing to return to Disney's Hollywood Studios, offering visitors an evening of exclusive Christmas entertainment.
However, the event is already proving popular with certain holiday crowds.
WDW News Today reports that the November 28, 2026, Jollywood Nights party has officially sold out.
The date falls immediately after Thanksgiving, when many families are still enjoying their holiday vacations.
It also marks the third Jollywood Nights sellout of the season.
November 7 and November 14 previously sold out, leaving visitors with fewer opportunities to attend the nighttime celebration.

The latest announcement doesn't mean Disney's Hollywood Studios will close to regular visitors on November 28.
Instead, it means Disney has stopped selling tickets for that particular Jollywood Nights party.
Visitors with standard theme park admission can still enjoy the park during its regular operating hours, but they won't be able to stay for the exclusive celebration without a valid event ticket.
Expensive Disney Christmas Tickets Continue Selling Out
What makes these sellouts particularly interesting is the price Disney charges for admission.
Jollywood Nights tickets cost between $169 and $199 per person, depending on the date.
At the highest price, two adults would spend $398 before any additional purchases.
A family of four could pay $796, making the event a significant addition to an already expensive Disney vacation.

Disney does provide $10 discounts for eligible Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and children ages three through nine.
Still, attending the party requires a substantial investment.
In return, guests receive access to five hours of holiday entertainment, beginning at 7:30 p.m. and ending at 12:30 a.m.
Ticket holders can also enter Disney's Hollywood Studios at 5:30 p.m., two hours before the event officially begins.
Disney has introduced several additions for the 2026 season, including a lounge in Animation Courtyard and characters appearing in the Glisten! skating show.
Guests will also receive a Chip ‘n' Dale ornament, while special merchandise includes a Gertie Loungefly purse.
These offerings give visitors more reasons to consider attending, although the value ultimately depends on how much they enjoy Disney's holiday entertainment.
Disney World Extends Jollywood Nights Into January
Families who missed the November 28 party aren't completely out of luck.
Disney still has several dates available throughout November and December.
Remaining November parties include November 16, 21, and 23.
In December, visitors can choose from December 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, and 23.
Disney has also made an important change to the event's schedule this year.
For the first time, Jollywood Nights will continue into January, with celebrations scheduled for January 3 and January 5, 2027.

That extension could be especially helpful for families visiting Walt Disney World after Christmas.
Rather than trying to fit the event into a crowded December itinerary, visitors can enjoy the celebration during the first week of January.
However, Disney hasn't promised that tickets for those remaining dates will stay available.
With three parties already sold out, families interested in attending may want to finalize their plans sooner rather than later.
For now, Thanksgiving weekend visitors who haven't secured their November 28 tickets will have to find another way to celebrate Christmas at Walt Disney World.
