7. They’re a Gateway to DVC
After your first stay at a deluxe resort, you aren't going to want to stay at anything but a deluxe resort. Once you start thinking about the cost of staying deluxe for every subsequent trip, you're going to start toying with the idea of purchasing Disney Vacation Club. Don't say I didn't warn you. Now, there's nothing wrong with purchasing DVC. In fact, it might just be on your list of life goals. Just know that once you stay deluxe, you're going to want it even more!
Now, if you are already considering DVC and toying with the idea of becoming an owner, then you must stay at a deluxe resort at least once to see if it will be worth it to you. Proximity, transportation, and dining are all fabulous reasons to enjoy a deluxe stay, but if you are seriously considering becoming a DVC owner, then staying at a DVC resort only makes sense.
