The Ultimate Magic Kingdom Visit – Tips for Tackling Disney’s Most Popular Park

9. Find Unusual Viewing Locations

If you are one of the many people who wants to see as much as possible during their Magic Kingdom day, you may find it sickening to learn that people begin staking out parade and fireworks viewing locations as much as 90 minutes early. After all, who wants to waste precious Magic Kingdom time sitting around waiting for a show?

Fortunately, it is almost always possible to find a place to watch a show if you arrive 20 minutes beforehand. For instance, the fireworks can be viewed from the pathway into Tomorrowland or even from the back of the castle. Meanwhile, the parade can be seen from Liberty Square and Frontierland, both areas that almost always have someplace to watch from even at the last minute.

That said, it is important to note that these areas are inferior to the front and center spots on the hub. Nevertheless, we find taking the less-desirable spots is almost always worth an extra ride on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
