It’s Not All Princesses and Dumbo Rides – 10 Things Your Fellas Will Love Doing at Walt Disney World

8. Design his very own light saber.

After your guy returns from his expedition at Star Tours, he will have the chance to design and build his very own light saber. He can build one just like those in the Star Warsepisodes or he can branch out and let his creativity run wild. As Guests exit the Star Tours attraction, they pass through a merchandise shop called Tatooine Traders. Near the exit of the shop, there is a station full of different parts and pieces your man can use to make his light saber. The prices are fairly reasonable, too—usually between $30 and $60 per saber, depending on how he builds it. But remember, if you let him build one, you can’t be upset with him for wanting to wield it all over the park for the rest of the day!

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
