Disney World on A Budget – What You Should and Shouldn’t Spend Your Money on

You Should Consider Upcharges and Special Events/You Shouldn’t Consider Upcharges and Special Events

My apologies readers! I realize this is a contradicting statement, but hear me out. In the past decade or so, WDW has really stepped up their game in offering special events. These include the holiday parties, firework viewing/dessert parties, food festivals, exclusive after-hours events and much more. Naturally, these all come at an extra price. The trick here, is being able to determine which events are worth the cost to you. Personally, I love Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and I never miss it during my fall trips. Other fans would rather splurge on a la carte snacks and tasty beverages at EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival. No one’s preference is wrong. They are just different. If something is truly worth it to you, the cost will be a non-issue. You will figure this out as you conduct research, consult vacation planners, and simply experience things for yourself. Regardless of price, one of these options will win your heart.

With this rough guide, I hope that you feel prepared to plan a wonderful (yet affordable) vacation! I wish you the best of luck in your magical planning.
