What You Should Pack For Your Disney Cruise

Cruise Stateroom

Reusable Cup

Unlike other cruise lines, DCL offers their guests soda at no additional charge. This can be found near the pool and is self-serve. While there are disposable cups available, they are small and flimsy. Instead, we prefer to take our own cups along for the trip.

A plastic lidded tumbler is just perfect, and it’s often possible to find Disney-themed ones.

Lanyard

Usually, those who have cruised with Disney before will receive a lanyard onboard the ship. However, if this is your first Disney cruise, you may want to bring a lanyard with a plastic name badge holder. This works quite well for holding your room key and removes the need to carry a purse or have pockets at all times. Some people also like to put their Disney pins on their lanyards for a personal touch.

DCL App

Lastly, you will definitely want to download the Disney Cruise Line app before leaving home. This app allows you to view schedules, communicate with family members while away from cell signal, and more. It’s super handy to have and you won’t regret getting it.

That’s it! Obviously, you will need to pack all the usual clothing, toiletries, chargers, and electronics. However, the items we’ve listed above are the most unusual, and therefore, the most likely to be forgotten.
