10 Perfect Ways to Spend Your Last Day At Disney World

It is your last day at Walt Disney World, the “most magical place on earth”, and you want it to be a really special, memorable day.  Well, you have to leave before you can return again, so enjoy that last day as a “So long, see ya real soon” day.  Here are some of our favorite ways to create a happy ending to a fabulous Disney vacation.

10. Arrive Early at the Parks

Choose your first theme park of the day and arrive early.  I would suggest beginning your last day at the Magic Kingdom, where you can stroll down Main Street to the hub in front of Cinderella’s Castle and enjoy the opening ceremony one more time.  Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters perform a fantastic “Welcome to the Magic Kingdom” stage show which will create a nice memory to hold onto until you return.

9. Rides and Attractions

We all have our favorite rides or attractions at each theme park.  Since this will be your last day try reserving your fast passes for your favorites at Magic Kingdom.   If you schedule them just right, you may be able to get in all three of your favorites before noon, which would be a good time to visit another park.

8. Dining on Your Last Day

There are so many places to enjoy a great meal at each of the theme parks.  Choose a favorite, but also make it a point to try somewhere you have not experienced.  Enjoy a meal at each park.  You could eat breakfast at the Magic Kingdom before your day begins, lunch at Hollywood Studios, and dinner at Epcot or Animal Kingdom, with snacks in between, of course.  This would be a good opportunity to sample some of those unusual menu items you have been curious about.

Cecilia

I am a working mother of four adult children, 2 granddogs, and one grandcat. I have been a Disney fanatic since 1959, when my parents took my sister and I on a journey across the country to Disneyland. Needless to say, we were thrilled, and this became our vacation destination for the next 10 years. Later, when Walt Disney World was opened, we travelled to Florida and discovered a whole new Disney experience, and WDW became our new vacation destination. Now, our extended family members are all Disney Fanatics and always ready to talk about anything Disney.
