Remembering Esta TerBlanche

Born in South Africa on January 7, 1973, Esta TerBlanche first gained recognition in her home country before transitioning to American television. She landed the role of Gillian Andrassy Lavery on All My Children in 1997, bringing elegance, humor, and depth to the character.

For months, fans awaited answers regarding what had caused her sudden passing. Now, an official report from the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has provided clarity.

Cause of Death Confirmed

According to the recently released report, Esta TerBlanche died from an intracranial hemorrhage caused by a blunt force traumatic head injury. The medical examiner ruled the death an accident, suggesting that the actress sustained the fatal injury from a fall.
