Adventures by Disney to Offer Family Expedition Cruises to the Galápagos Islands in 2023

We have some more news from Adventures by Disney this morning! In addition to new Arctic and Antarctic expeditions, Adventures by Disney will also be launching family expedition cruises to the Galápagos Islands with itineraries beginning in 2023.

Guests will travel aboard PONANT’s Galápagos Island Legend for nine-day and eight-night itineraries that will expose the whole family to the natural landscapes, wildlife, and unique islands and ecosystems of the Galápagos Islands. Excursions are led by friendly Disney Adventure Guides as well as local naturalists, with trip highlights including snorkeling in waters known to be inhabited by sea lions, reef fish and sea turtles, paddling transparent kayaks throughout the island’s coves, and hiking to see all angles of the Galápagos’.

Guests on the Galápagos Islands Expedition will also have the option to extend their trip an additional three or four nights. The extended option comes with the opportunity to spend a couple of nights on the Anakonda river boat seeing the Amazon rainforest up close. From there, Guests will be able to travel by motorized canoe down the Napo River where they may see the pink river dolphin. The optional add-on also includes a guided nocturnal rainforest walk to see animals that would often be missed during the day.
