2. Disney Resort Hotel Package and Delivery Service
You don’t have to carry your theme park purchases around with you all day. You can store them in a locker for a small fee, or if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can have your packages sent back to your hotel from any theme park store. Just let the cashier know when you check out and they will fill out the proper paperwork. Your merchandise will arrive at your hotel usually within a day, and you will receive a phone call when they are ready for pickup at your Resort’s Package Pickup Counter. There is no charge for this service.
For a nominal fee, you can also have your packages sent home. This is very convenient for airline travelers.
There is also the option of having your packages sent to the Package Pickup Center located at the entrance of every theme park. This option is also available to non-Resort guests.
1. Extra Magic Hours
Extra Magic Hours are extended park hours available to Disney Resort hotel guests. On certain days of the week, guests can enter a theme park one hour earlier or stay up to two hours later than normal park hours. During these Magic Hours guests can enjoy select attractions in at least one of the four theme parks. Check your Disney Resort hotel for the printed “Times Guide” for information on which theme park is offering morning or late Magic Hours. On those crazy busy days, this Disney Resort hotel perk is a treasure.
“Be Our Guest” is definitely a motto that Disney cast members adhere to, especially Disney Resort hotel cast members. From those cast members who maintain the landscaping, all the way to the Hotel Manager, they are ready to assist guests in any way they can and answer any question a guest may have. The friendliness, availability, courtesy, and exceptional service of Disney Resort hotel cast members are some of the best reasons to stay on Disney property. You will never want to stay off property again.
