1. Disney’s BoardWalk

Disney proposals do not have to happen in the park. In fact, some of the most beautiful areas of the property are around Disney resorts. Pop the question over dinner and celebrate with champagne and an unobstructed firework view open exclusively to restaurant guests on the roof.  If you really want to amp up the wow factor, propose during the Happily Ever After Show while the fireworks explode overhead.

3. On Bay Lake

There are so many gorgeous spots along Bay Lake, any beachfront spot is perfect. Snag a seat at a swing or chair on the beach in front of Grand Floridian Resort, the Contemporary Resort or Polynesian Village Resort and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and the Magic Kingdom while you pop the question. After he or she says yes, celebrate with a cocktail from a nearby bar at the resort or with dinner at a Disney restaurant. Remember if you pop the question in the evening, be sure to note the time of the Electrical Water Parade and Happily Ever After Show so you avoid an overcrowded beach or a noisy space when the big moment arrives.

Runners looking to pop the question during a RunDisney race could time the proposal with favorite characters during the race, at mile markers or at beautiful spots in the closed parks during the race. For the perfect ending to an awesome race you could propose at the finish line. After the big moment is over the lovebirds can pose for photos with the new bling and race finisher medals.

6. Around World Showcase

Epcot’s World Showcase is chock full of incredible spots that would make the perfect engagement backdrop. Pop the question over a delicious dinner at Chefs de France or near the Trevi Fountain in the Italian Pavilion. Or drop to one knee under the tiled archway in Morocco or in the tea garden in the United Kingdom. There are so many beautiful options in World Showcase you really cannot go wrong.

7. Near the Tree of Life

For Animal Kingdom fans, getting engaged within view of the Tree of Life is the dream proposal. There are so many lush and beautiful spots around the park but the Tree of Life is iconic Disney and has PhotoPass photographers nearby to capture the moment. While your sweetie is marveling at the intricately carved animals that fill the tree, drop to one knee to pop the question.
