Caribbean Beach – Why We Love This Laid-Back Disney Resort

5. Delicious Dining Options

Another great thing that came along with the remodel are the new dining options. There is something for everyone, and the new menus are simply incredible. This means you won’t have to leave your resort to get an excellent meal, a major bonus for most travelers.

Sebastian’s Bistro is very subtly themed afterThe Little Mermaid. It is a table-service restaurant, and the menu consists of island-inspired meals such as jerk chicken, curries, and fish meals.

Quick-service options include Centertown Market and Spyglass Grill. Both have excellent options in terms of food, and wonderful, fast service that makes it easy to get in and out in no time.

6. Pirate Rooms

A super cool feature of the Caribbean Beach Resort that cannot be found at any other resort are the pirate rooms. While these rooms were not included in the refurbishment, we still think they are pretty awesome and well worth staying in if your kids are into pirates and adventure.

The beds in this room look exactly like pirate ships, meaning you can sail off to sleep each night. Meanwhile, the flooring looks like the wooden planks you might find on a pirate ship, and all of the room decor goes right along with the theme.

These rooms are super fun and definitely a dream come true for all the pirate lovers out there.

7. Skyliner

Finally, we must mention the Skyliner. If you feel that Moderate Resorts are boring in the transportation department, you’re going to love this.

The Skyliner is a gondola ride in the sky that, when it opens, will take guests of Caribbean Beach Resort to and from Hollywood Studios, as well as the World Showcase entrance of Epcot. Not only does this make getting from point A to point B super fun, it will likely also be much more efficient than the current bus ride.

Other resorts that will have Skyliner access include Pop Century, Art of Animation, and the upcoming Riviera Resort. The new transportation system is set to open in the fall of 2019.
