The EPCOT Area Resorts are one of our favorite parts of Walt Disney World to visit during the holidays! With the quick and easy walk or boat ride to World Showcase for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, plus the handmade and entirely edible gingerbread carousel in the lobby of the Beach Club, and so many special treats, this area is one of the best places to celebrate the season.

Here are some more reasons to celebrate your inner foodie this holiday season right at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn:

For something sweet, you need to head right over to the BoardWalk Bakery. This year they are offering everything from Peppermint Bark to a Root Beer Float Cupcake, and all of it sounds delicious.

The bakery’s Peppermint Bark made with a traditional recipe of milk and white chocolate and peppermint candy will be available from December 1-26, 2021, along with Pumpkin Cheesecake Swirl bread and Gingerbread and Sugar cookies shaped like Mickey and Minnie available during the same dates.

From December 1-25, Guests can find Gingerbread Boy Cupcakes and a Christmas Cookie Box, perfect for picking up to eat outside by the water on Disney’s BoardWalk or for bringing back to your hotel room to snack on later.

Last but certainly not least, that Root Beer Float Cupcake is a unique twist on the traditional oversized Disney cupcakes, and this treat is available December 26-January 1.

If you are planning on spending Thanksgiving at Disney’s BoardWalk, Trattoria al Forno has you covered. Thanksgiving dinner is served just on November 25 and includes Sage & Thyme Oven-Roasted Turkey – Cornbread and sausage stuffing, sour cream-mashed Yukon gold potatoes, green beans and rainbow carrots with herb butter, cranberry citrus compote, pan gravy, and Parker House Rolls. Also available only on November 25, 2021 is the Apple Crostata, made with Vanilla bean gelato, candied pecans, and caramel sauce.

Trattoria Al Forno

For Guests stopping in for breakfast later in the season, Trattoria al Forno will offer Mickey Eggs in a Basket with egg-filled butter brioche and classic pastrami hash with choice of ham, bacon, or sausage.

For dinner the restaurant is serving up Oak-grilled Char-crusted Ribeye with Amarone butter, truffle gnocchi, and balsamic-pancetta Brussel sprouts. And the specialty dessert is the Chocolate Cherry Bombe, a chocolate crunch mousse on a fudgy brownie base with cherry filling and amaretto panna cotta. Both the dinner and breakfast items are available December 19-31, 2021.
