Preparations for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays are in full swing, with announcements already made for the first round of celebrity narrators at Candlelight Processional, storytellers returning to the countries of World Showcase and more. If you love EPCOT’s festivals for their foodie scene, you’ll be excited to learn some of the details that have been coming together regarding the outdoor kitchens for this year’s event.

Holiday Kitchens will be stationed around World Showcase serving up traditional seasonal food from countries around the globe. Disney is still working out the details for many of the kitchens, but we do know so far that classics like slow-roasted turkey will be featured as well as a holiday pot pie.

On the dessert end, pumpkin gingerbread cheesecake will be making an appearance this year (that alone has us thinking we need to book a Disney trip during the holidays asap!) and peppermint sundaes. The annual cookie stroll will be returning to World Showcase for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, too.

A brand new kitchen debuting for the 2021 Festival of the Holidays will be the Chestnut & Good Cheer Holiday Kitchen, and it sounds delicious! This kitchen will be offering fire-roasted chestnuts and cinnamon-glazed almonds and cashews. Can you imagine how good it’s going to smell by that kitchen? Disney should bottle that up and sell it as air freshener or candles…
