Disney Adults Have Been Waiting for This Holiday Event, and The Return Has Been Confirmed

There is something delightful about the moment in late June when the outside temperature becomes genuinely unbearable, and Disney starts discussing the holiday season. This may seem like a contradiction, but it's also a tradition. It is Halfway to the Holidays. Every year around this time, Disney World announces the schedules and pricing for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios.

This year, the teaser campaign began today with an image of a fireplace and a series of Christmas stockings. The message accompanying the image invited fans to tap on each stocking to uncover hidden clues tucked inside, promising that more secrets would be revealed tomorrow, June 24. This date is significant as it's when Disney traditionally releases the full schedule and pricing information for both holiday events.

What the Stocking Actually Contained

When fans started tapping on the stockings, the one labeled “Kermie” delivered the news that Jollywood Nights fans have been waiting to hear confirmed. Inside that stocking was Ollie, the gingerbread man character who has become synonymous with Jollywood Nights, the sophisticated after-hours holiday celebration at Hollywood Studios. The clue attached to the reveal read: “Where once there was a space, now a stocking appears, with a jingle of bells softly ringing in ears.”

For anyone familiar with Jollywood Nights, this is essentially the confirmation everyone was hoping for. Ollie made a significant impact during previous Jollywood Nights events, becoming the face and personality of the celebration, and seeing the character featured prominently in Disney's first official holiday teaser for the year is as close to a guarantee as Disney tends to get before a formal announcement.

The presence of Kermit on the stocking is also worth noting. Kermit is already part of the holidays at Hollywood Studios, as he hosts a celebration with Miss Piggy held at the Beauty and the Beast theater during the holiday season. Including his name alongside Ollie suggests that multiple holiday experiences are happening at Hollywood Studios this year.

Why Jollywood Nights Matters

Jollywood Nights has become one of the most anticipated after-hours events at Walt Disney World, and it is easy to understand why. Unlike Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which skews heavily toward families with rides featuring holiday overlays and traditional Christmas entertainment, Jollywood Nights caters specifically to an adult crowd looking for something more sophisticated.

The event features exclusive holiday cocktails and specialty adult beverages that are not available anywhere else on property, special meet-and-greets with holiday-themed characters, and entertainment experiences that give the event a genuinely different feel from the family-focused Magic Kingdom celebration.

Last year, Jollywood Nights ran for 12 nights, stretching from November through late December, with tickets priced between $159 and $179, depending on the specific date guests selected. Given that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party raised its prices for 2026, guests should expect Jollywood Nights pricing to increase as well, possibly moving into a higher range.

Tomorrow's Big Disney Announcement

Tomorrow, June 24, Disney will officially release the complete schedules and pricing for both Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights. That is when guests will finally get the full picture, including exact dates, complete pricing breakdowns, and any new features or changes for this year's events.

For anyone planning a November or December trip to Walt Disney World, tomorrow is the critical moment to pay attention. This is when the speculation ends, and the real planning begins, when guests can evaluate which event fits their vacation plans and budget.

Today's stocking hint was essentially confirmation that Jollywood Nights is returning. Tomorrow's announcement will tell guests everything else they need to know.
