Farewell to Public Operating Hours at Atlantic Dance Hall
For nearly three decades, Atlantic Dance Hall has stood as an architectural icon along Crescent Lake. Modeled after an elegant 1930s coastal dance hall, the two-story venue featured sweeping waterfront views, an expansive dance floor, and a nostalgic atmosphere for late-night resort guests. Operating primarily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights for guests ages 21 and older, it was one of the few dedicated adult dance venues remaining on Disney property.
Disney’s latest update officially brings that regular public era to an end. The venue will host its final regular public operating nights from September 25 through September 27, 2026. Beginning October 1, 2026, Atlantic Dance Hall will cease all public walk-in operations and transition to an exclusive venue for private events, corporate galas, and weddings.

Taking over the prominent waterfront space previously occupied by the Jellyrolls dueling piano bar, Hurly-Burly combines vintage 1920s vaudeville charm, daily live entertainment, shareable boardwalk bites, and craft mixology.

The exterior of the building has been completely redesigned with a bright turquoise finish, crisp white trim, and bold red scalloped awnings adorned with golden nautical accents. Over the entrance hangs an illuminated marquee featuring vintage lightbulbs that spell out “HURLY-BURLY”. The backstory imagines the lounge as a restored turn-of-the-century coastal theater that once hosted the BoardWalk's top vaudeville performers.
Dual-Concept Operating Hours
One of Hurly-Burly's defining features is its flexible, two-phase daily operating schedule:
- Family Lounge (Daily starting at 4:00 p.m.): During the late afternoon and early evening, Hurly-Burly welcomes guests of all ages to relax, play trivia and interactive games, and sample shareable food plates.
- Adults-Only Cabaret (9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.): At 9:00 p.m., the venue transitions to a strictly adults-only policy for guests ages 21 and older, featuring live musical performances, cabaret acts, and rotating musical genres.
“Drinks Here!” Walk-Up Window
For guests strolling along Crescent Lake, Hurly-Burly features an exterior quick-service drink window marked by a sign reading “Drinks Here!” This window allows passersby to order craft cocktails, draft beers, and specialty beverages on the go.

The food menu features shareable plates like Meatballs in Tomato Gravy, Roast Beef Sliders, Oven-Roasted Shrimp, Tomato Pie, Mini Pretzels with Bacon-Cheese Fondue, and Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts. The cocktail menu spotlights prohibition-era spirits, including “The Mertini,” “Overproof Amaretto Sour,” and “La Taquilla Picante.” The venue operates strictly on a walk-up basis with no reservations required.
