While this kind of issue is typically the result of improper items being flushed down the pipes — a problem that’s not exclusive to ships — the guest offered an alternate explanation. According to them, the backup was due to “pressure issues aboard the ship,” suggesting a problem with the vessel's plumbing system itself.
And, to make matters worse, the cleaning efforts were deemed insufficient.
The guest criticized the “15 min clean of a carpeted surface that had feces” and claimed that “they are still running fans in the hallway two days later.” Unfortunately, the memories of this unfortunate event would likely linger far longer than any fond recollections of Disney magic.
