Disney Guest Reports Disturbing Incident of Animal Harassment in the Park

A Disneyland guest has shared a troubling report about another visitor attempting to kick a duck inside the park, sparking outrage among Disney fans.

The report, which surfaced online, details an incident where a man tried to harm one of Disneyland’s resident ducks, only for the bird to escape just in time. The situation escalated further when the man, after failing to kick the duck, turned on his young child, yelling in their face.

According to the guest who witnessed the event, they attempted to intervene:

“A dude today started to try to kick a duck. Duck got away right as I was rushing over to stand in between. He then turned and got into the face of his young child and started yelling at the kid. I kept my eye on that [person] until they walked away.”

Protecting Disneyland’s Wildlife

Disneyland’s roaming ducks have long been a beloved part of the park experience, often seen waddling around pathways, lounging near water features, and even raising ducklings inside the parks. While the vast majority of guests respect the animals, there have been increasing reports of visitors harassing them—from chasing and feeding them inappropriate food to outright attempts to harm them.

Disney does have strict policies in place to protect both its guests and its wildlife. Harassing or harming animals inside the park is not only against Disney’s rules but can also be considered animal cruelty under California law. In severe cases, such behavior could result in the guest being removed from the park or even facing legal consequences.

Growing Concerns About Guest Behavior

The incident has sparked discussions among Disney fans about rising issues with guest behavior at the parks. Some have pointed out that Disneyland, known as the “Happiest Place on Earth,” has seen an increase in incidents of aggression, rule-breaking, and mistreatment of both Cast Members and animals.

While it’s unclear if Disneyland security intervened in this particular situation, many guests are urging the park to take stronger action against those who mistreat the park’s wildlife.

As a private property, Disneyland has the authority to remove guests who violate its policies, and reports like these serve as a reminder that all visitors should respect the environment, the Cast Members, and the animals that call the park home.
