A cast member went online to reach out to a guest that they saw had been crying while at Disney World; here’s the story.

The Walt Disney World Resort is universally agreed upon to be “The Most Magical Place on Earth” and for good reason. With incredible Disney Park rides like Space Mountain or Haunted Mansion, and lands like Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, it’s no surprise as to why this is the case.

However, sometimes things do go awry.

Cast Members Discovers Crying Guest

Recently, a cast member took to Reddit to reach out to a guest who had clearly been crying while at Disney World, an occurrence that any Disney Fanatic would know is rare. The cast member described in detail their interaction with the guest.

They wrote, “It’s a sick world and I didn’t want to assume anything but I’ve been in tourism (especially hotels before) to know when it might possibly be a boyfriend or spouse that upset or even physically hurt you. I asked if you were ok and hope you didn’t mind that it was natural for me to briefly put my hand on your shoulder.”

The CM added, “I purposely loaded your gondola with another couple and hope you had some consolation.”

The cast member wished that the guest had a good Disney vacation after the incident and that her day had looked up. The cast member garnered a lot of compliments for this attention and care.

One fan wrote, “Kindness is always pixie dust.”

Many guests and fans also highlighted why it was important to leave a cast compliment when a cast member went out of their way to help.

One commented, “Remember everyone. COMPLIMENT YOUR CMs. They put up with enough karens in a day to last anyone a lifetime. They are what help make this special for all of us. And i dont mean just verbally. On the app as well. And if you dont know how to do it. Ask one. They will show you. It helps them out a lot.”
