The Best Kept Disney Dining Secret: Landry’s Select Club

Can we let you in on a little secret? We have a favorite Walt Disney World dining tip that we usually keep on the low down, but we feel the need to let our Disney Fanatic readers know all about it! Without further ado, we’re introducing you to Landry’s Select Club.

Landry’s is nothing new and has actually been around for years, but we’ve learned rather quickly the amount of Disney fans that know about this special program are few and far between.

What Is Landry’s?

Landry’s Select Club is a renowned restaurant loyalty program with great benefits for its members. With over 600+ participating locations, it’s easy to gain rewards on food, beverages, and retail purchases at participating Landry’s locations.

Participating Disney Restaurants

Landry’s owns and operates four Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, including:

• T-REX Restaurant at Disney Springs
• Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs
• Rainforest Cafe at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
• Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park

Priority Seating

The BEST of the best perks when dining at one of these Disney Landry’s locations is the priority seating. Did you forget to make a Disney reservation 60-days in advance, and now there are no table-service restaurants available for dining? Pull out your Landry’s card.

Landry’s members get priority seating any day of the week for parties of six or less. While Landry’s notes this is “based on availability,” we have used the priority seating countless times at Walt Disney World, amid crowded Disney Springs and Disney Animal Kingdom Park days.

Simply visit the Host/Hostess stand upon arrival to T-REX, either Rainforest Cafe or Yak & Yeti. Let the Cast Member know you are a Landry’s Member, and they will bump you up on the waitlist without a reservation.

How the Rewards Work

Earn a point for every $1 spent! When you reach 250 points, Landry’s gives you a $25 reward. Landry’s also offers a $25 “Welcome Reward” once you join the club.

Celebrate your birthday at a Landry’s location! That’s right, Landry’s offers a free $25 “Birthday Reward” to use during your Birthday Month at its participating locations. Birthday Rewards cannot be used on the same visit as a Welcome Reward.

To keep racking up the rewards, don’t forget to show your server your Landry’s card. Forgot your card? They can add in the rewards via your telephone number.

How Much Does it Cost?

It’s basically FREE. So, here’s the deal. When you join, there is a one-time, non-refundable $25 Membership Fee. There is no annual fee to continue your membership. BUT – also, when you sign up, you’ll receive that $25 Welcome Reward for joining the Landry’s Select Club within 24 hours of registering your account online.

So, you’ll initially spend $25 to join the club, but on your next visit to a Landry’s location, you can use your $25 welcome reward – making joining the membership a wash.

Extra Notes

A couple of extra notes to remember when becoming a Landry’s Club Member. A max of $300 in rewards may be earned per check. Plus, points are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
